First Call for Concrete work

Fleming Complete demolished Comtech’s existing slab while pouring a new 18 inch thick pad in order to house a 3,000 gallon liquid nitrogen tank at Comtech’s Satellite Devices plant.

Fleming Complete had to coordinate all phases to ensure the safe install. The success of the project hinged on a pad which ultimately could withstand the large vessel.

Material engineers performed the required break test to ensure a 4,000 psi rating on the concrete as the Fleming team worked to enclose the tank with a 8 foot tall blocks wall with rebar, secured with wrought iron fence and gates.
